Greetings...Peace and Blessings from Lahh Woods at NYDLBALL.com Radio. The summer hoop season is upon us today, with indoor and outdoor competitive play...Where fearless jump shooters and low post ballas reign supreme- We've got travel teams packing their game bags, while others stay home and dream. June Blessings and Bloom have passed up by...now we prepare for the Fireworks and Travel in July!! The HoopCity Jazz and Art Festival in Springfield, Mass was nothing less than incredible! It was held at the Springfield Technical Community College, which was only minutes from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Jazz and Hoops...I was in Hoops and Culture Heaven. I also ventured over to the popular Dunbar Community Center, on the recommendation of the some of the youthful staff at the Basketball Hall of Fame. I was told that was where the "Real Ballas" were at...We will return...and we shall see.

Congrats to the Watkins Enterprise Basketball Team [Camden/Philly] for winning the NYDLBALL.com 2009 Malcolm X 3x3 Event at Baruch College, NYC. They defeated the 2008 NYDLBALL.com 3x3 Champions, Tavern on the Green, by the score of 21-18!! This contest was off to a slow scoring start as a result of strong defensive play by both teams...Besides the fact that Enterprise had a little jet-lag as a result of their commute to NYC.

Tavern on the Green is on their way to the Dominican Republic for sun and fun as a result of their winning the 2009 New York Hotel Employees Basketball League and will represent NYDLBALL.com with a couple of Children's Hoop Clinics on the tropical carribean island.
