Tryout Day is always an exciting day. You know that you've done your homework...You know that your ready to show and prove...and there's always the X-Factor! You never know who's going to show up and surprise you as a strong unknown future teammate aka "The Walk On" aka "The X-Factor" I remember walking into a crowded gym for tryouts at NBC Television in the 1990's. As I greeted the players I knew, I glanced downcourt and saw an unidentified balla about 6' 5"-230 lbs draining 3's, power-dunking the ball frontwards and back. There was a an immediate smile on my face. This was my informal introduction to Tylor "Sky" Coley from Elkhart Indiana aka The X-Factor! Question of the Day-Isn't it Time that we retire the "N-word?" As I travel the streets and gyms of America I often hear, "Nigga This..."Nigger That"...I'm walking in Times Square [NYC] I over-hear a deep British accent behind me talking to his friend, "Nigga Please! I got that Luda cd the other day and that S@%t was banging bro!" I turn around and see two white guys! You know what I don't care if you're Black or White...On Urban Street-Cred Radio or on a John Wayne Country Western cd...I don't care if your speaking to you homies, your children, or somebody you go fishing & deer hunting with...I think it's time WE retire the N-word...cause right now...IT IS NOT a GOOD LOOK!
