Play Big! That's the word for the day. It troubles me to see a gifted player or person perform below their talents and abilities. Whether in their personal life or on the basketball court, always put your best foot forward...even when you are surrounded by less than capable "teammates." Work through it, take the higher ground. Stay motivated. Stay positive. MAKE USE OF THE RESOURCES THAT ARE AROUND YOU!! Set short term goals for yourself and your partner/teammate. Discipline yourself to complete what you've started, to the best of your abilities. Don't be afraid to encourage and lift those around you. Don't be the weakest link in the equation. COMMUNICATE and contribute to the development of whoever the "weakest Link" is! We are responsible for not only ourselves, but we have a responsibility to our teammates and our community. **NY KNICKS vs LA LAKERS REPORT [OK we'll throw in Philly & NJ] The New York Knicks put together a team effort and defeat the Cleveland Cavs last night 101-98. Q. Richardson did it on both ends scoring 27 point and containing L. James down the stretch to secure the "W." Lakers drop one (OOps) the other night to the Bucks 109 to 105. M. Redd hit 45 and Kobe B had 27. The Lakers face a red hot Utah team who just beat San An....Look for Boozer to give the Lakers more than a hand full tonight. NJ Nets beat Boston last night 105-103...V. Carter had 23 & P. Pierce dropped 31.
Atlantic Conference-New Jersey Nets are is 1st Place & are 6-9 Atlantic Conference-Sixers are 5-9 in a two way tie for 2nd with Boston. Atlantic Conference-Knicks are 6-11 in 4th Place with a 1 game winning streak.
Pacific Conference -Lakers are 9-5 in 1st Place with a 1 game "L" streak with Sac Kings, Phoenix, Golden State & the Clippers right on their heels (All within 2 games of the Lakers!!).
Laker Fans in NYC are beginning to feel the heat. We are just getting started people, you haven't seen anything yet! We can't wait to see the Lakers during the regular season, cause it's a lock that we won't see them in the playoffs. (And you know why!!) What's happening with my two notorious/ infamous Laker Fans from Harlem? Keeping a low profile hugh fellas? Where's Dawud and Ralph Boogie? Has anyone seen or heard from them since the DEPORTAT- ION hearings have begun? The Laker Cha-Cha slide may be on it's way, just in time for the holidays!! We shall see.
