The Garden State Challenge brought talent from all over the tri-state metro area. We welcomed the best players from NYC, NJ, and Philly to Camden, NJ, where they showed their skills in a battle for "The Garden State". Game 1, put Cam/Phi's Mt Olivet against NYC's NYDLBALL.com. The game was a mix of the young and the younger! Mt Olivet came out on top by a score of 77-55. MVP Jeff Campbell (Mt Olivet) scored a game-hi 20 Pts, with teammate Maurice Williams not far behind with 18 points. NYDLBALL.com's leading scorers were Mike Allen (11), Troy Wilson (9), and Chaz Dudley (9).
Game 2 was a clash of all-star ballers with NYC's Chaz Hoops against Camden/Philly's Watkins Enterprises. It was a close game, with Watkins leading early, but a determined Chaz Hoops team came back strong, taking the victory by a score of 88-82. Game 2's MVP Will Hubbard (22Pts) hit an amazing 6 3ptrs, in the victory. Despite the loss, the Camden/Philly team made it a tough game, with Isaiah Russell dropping 34points, and Jabbar Kimbel scoring 19points.
