Good Morning, Peace and Blessings from Lahh Woods at NYDLBALL.com RADIO! This is DAY Seven at Camp Concrete "Where Basic Fundamentals Meet the Will to Compete"-6:19 in the AM EST- We are once again coming to you Live via all things good and with the blessings of the creator I pray that our words and actions will be ordered in a positive way...All Day! Have you ever played on a team where you did not start? You were not even the sixth man, and you just "knew" you was better than those on the floor before you. How did you handle that? How can you handle that? How will you handle that? Some turn a deaf ear to the coach and then try to disrupt the program. Some turn negatively on their teammates and others self-destruct totally and just quit. Sometimes in life we just have to "lean back" and accept the cards that are dealt to us. Yes, we can accept it and at the same time "keep it moving" in the right direction to accomplish what we will. We must be vigilant, side stepping those obstacles in the way of our victory. At all cost stay positive, upbeat, and mature. Don't walk around with a storm cloud over your head and on your face.[A sure way to turn people off and isolate yourself] Honestly, ask yourself, "Do I know the plays? Am I in the best possible conditioning? Am I giving up as many points as I am scoring?" etc...Continue to work hard, be productive, at practice and during your precious little minutes on the court. Always keep the communication open with your teammates and your coach. Stay positive. Stay disciplined. Respect the opinion of your coach and elevate the quality of your minutes on the floor. If you are not a team player, become one. If you have an issue with the established team policy, or you feel that the coach doesn't like you, deal with it with respect and maturity {Even when he/she doesn't do so}. Do not shoot yourself in the foot, by your words and actions, further burying yourself into the eternal depths of the end of the bench. Do not paint yourself into a corner, placing yourself in a battle against the establishment and the multitudes of the free world! It's not that serious [and you will probably loose.] This is your season. This is your life. Do not allow anyone to rob you of your own joy and happiness... especially not yourself. You may be asked to make some personal sacrifices for the sake of the team. Always finish what you start. Stay positive. Work through the challenges and good things will follow. Today's Work-out...You've had a great week...You get the Day Off! Also Today (A) Always Read and Say Something Positive (B) Be Wise-Study Hard and Work Smart (C) Contact a family member or friend that you haven't spoken to in months [You know who that is] and (D) Don't forget to Pray. Peace and Defense. Meditate-Motivate-Elevate!
