The Camden Crew Wins 2007 Garden State Shoot-Out II Pro-Am Tournament

The Camden Crew led by Dajuan "Flash" Wagner and Master Don Polk defeated Ant's Team

[78-71] in the Garden State Shoot-Out Championship Game in Winslow Township New Jersey. The capacity crowd, filled with many of the Main Stream AAU ballas competing the same day, were delighted to witness the long range shooting of Wagner and Polk. Much of the day's action was played above the rim, with aerial athleticism of many of the talented teams on hand.

The two other teams from this year's Final Four were Chaz Hoops [NYC], and Enterprise [Camden/Philly]. Chaz Hoops was defeated in O.T. by Ant's Team [75-74] on a last second, coast to coast, lay-up by their big man. The Camden Crew out-gunned Enterprise [73-67] to advance to the "Chip". Other strong pro-am clubs participating this year included N.E.O.A.B.D. [Not Even On A Bad Day- Maryland], and the always exciting Pure Game [Philly].

In a two day tear, the Camden Crew defeated Chaz Hoops 82-72, Pure Game 83-79 and then Enterprise 73-67 to get to the 2007 Final! Ant's team beat N.E.O.A.B.D. 76-65, Enterprise 84-62, and DAZE 82-80! The Camden Crew got out to an early lead, and although they were challenged late in the game, they never looked back. The Camden Crew is crowned 2007 Garden State Shoot-Out II Champs and Master Don Polk is named tournament MVP!
